Fives and Novelis Advance Sustainable Aluminium Recycling in Germany
Fives and Novelis have successfully completed the modernization of three secondary aluminium melting furnaces at the Voerde plant in Germany. Thanks to the integration of North American® TwinBed® II regenerative burners, the facility has achieved a more than 40% reduction in carbon emissions, significantly lowering gas consumption.
The project was fully managed by Fives North American Combustion Spain, from engineering and design through commissioning.
